Internal Sales Engineer – Electro/Mechanical
Location: Glasgow, G81 4HT
Salary: £28K – £30K per annum, DOE + Benefits + Company Van
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm Mon – Thursday, 8am – 4pm Friday
Premium Power Units Ltd (PPU) is an electric motor sales and engineering repair company based in Clydebank, Glasgow, and we require a full time, permanent Internal Sales Engineer to start immediately!
We are the Scottish Motor Centre for Brook Crompton, we supply and repair electric motors, geared motors, pumps etc. to industrial customers throughout Scotland and carry out service, repairs and modifications within our Glasgow workshop.
We have been established and based in Clydebank for over 30 years.
Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting for a full-time Internal Sales Engineer working from our Glasgow premises, you will be offered a multitude of training and progression opportunities within our growing company as your experience progresses.
You will be office-based operating from our Glasgow office being our main internal sales contact to our existing and new clients, backing up our external sales:
As our Internal Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Promoting our products & services to clients.
- Dealing with internal sales / repairs enquiries as required.
- Gain knowledge of our Sage sales & quote system.
- Assist with general duties when / as required.
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, hands-on individual who has a keen interest in the electro / mechanical field and has:
- Previous sales experience.
- Engineer experienced in electrical motors or mechanical engineering looking for a sales role may be considered for the right person.
- Previous experience in a mechanical environment.
It would be great if you had experience in any of the following sales roles: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, Electrical Motors, Mechanical Engineering, Internal Sales, External Sales
